Each tool stops after a set number of actions a day against one application. The count resets at midnight UTC. Sending mail is the exception: there the count is people.
The limit protects the application, not the AI. Every AI, terminal and workspace reaching one mailbox draws from the same number, so one cannot spend another’s allowance without you seeing it.
Sending counts people
A tool that sends mail counts every person a message goes to: 200 people a day per application, across send, reply, forward and drafts. An email to 30 people uses 30 of them. Everyone on to, cc and bcc counts, and an address that appears twice counts once. A reply to all counts everyone it goes to, and a draft counts everyone it is addressed to when it is sent.
A message to more people than are left for the day is not sent at all. The AI is told how many people it can still reach today, so it can send to fewer people or wait for the day to reset.
Adding an event, or adding guests to one, invites at most 50 people at a time.
Where to find one
Open Tools, then the application under Applications, then its Limits tab. It lists every tool on that account with its daily line and how much of today is used. Open one to change it.
An AI that hits a limit hands you the link to that exact limit, so you usually arrive already knowing which one. GBrain also emails the account’s owner the first time it reaches a tool’s limit in a day: one email for that account and tool, however many AIs reached it.
The two ways to change a limit
Add room now is just for today. It is gone when the day resets, and the standing number comes back. Use it to unblock something now.
Change the daily limit is the standing number, every day from now on. Leave it empty to go back to ours.
Both are yours alone. An AI can read its allowance and tell you it ran out; it cannot raise it.
What “paused” means
A tool at its limit is paused, not broken. Everything else that application can do keeps working, and the paused tool starts again when the day resets.
