Pin gbrain to your dock or home screen.
A faster path back in. One click, two clicks, you're back at your team's brain without hunting for a tab.
macOS, in Safari
Sonoma and later. Sit on any gbrain page in Safari.
-
i.
From the menu bar, open File and choose Add to Dock…
-
ii.
Confirm the name (just "gbrain" is fine) and click Add.
-
iii.
The "g" lands in your dock. Click it to open gbrain in its own window, separate from your browser.
iPhone or iPad, in Safari
Open gbrain in Safari. Other browsers on iOS can't add to the home screen, only Safari.
-
i.
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen (the square with the arrow pointing up).
-
ii.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
-
iii.
Confirm the name and tap Add. The "g" lands on your home screen and launches gbrain full-screen, without Safari chrome.
Android, in Chrome
Chrome usually offers an install prompt on its own. If it doesn't, do this.
-
i.
Tap the ⋮ menu in the top right.
-
ii.
Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen on older Android builds).
-
iii.
Confirm. The "g" lands in your app drawer like any other installed app.
What you get
-
·
Its own window, separate from your browser tabs. No tab roulette when you want to check on your brain.
-
·
Launches from your dock or home screen like any other app. Cmd-Tab on macOS, app drawer on Android.
-
·
Same gbrain, same sign-in, same data. The web app is the app. Nothing new to learn.
