The GBrain wordmark, monogram and social squares

The wordmark, the monogram and a square mark for every social profile, each in SVG and PNG. The rules at the bottom keep it looking like itself.

Wordmark

The name, set as the mark. Use it wherever there is room for the whole word, and give it the clear space the rules below ask for.

On paper. Use this one on any cream or near-white surface.
GBrain wordmark on ink
On ink. Use this one on dark backgrounds, and never invert the dark mark with CSS.

Monogram

The capital G on its own, for places the wordmark will not fit: an icon, an avatar, a favicon.

Social

Square marks at 1000 pixels, one on each of the brand's surfaces, ready to upload as a profile picture. Social sites take PNG, not SVG.

Guidelines

  • ·

Clear space. Keep at least the cap height of the "G" empty on every side. The mark is editorial, not a sticker. Let it breathe.

  • ·

Minimum size. 24px tall on screen, 8mm in print. Smaller and the hairlines start to break up.

  • ·

Two capitals, one word. GBrain, never gbrain, Gbrain or GBRAIN. Lowercase is only for what a reader types: the domain, gbrain.io, and a command such as gbrain ping.

  • ·

Don't redraw it. Don't kern it by hand, don't outline it with a stroke, don't put a gradient on it, don't set it inside a circle or pill, don't animate the letters one by one. Use the file.

  • ·

Use the right surface. The dark mark goes on paper or anything at 80% lightness or more; the light mark goes on ink or anything at 30% or less. In between, use whichever has more contrast, and add a backing if you must.
