Question 1

Do I need a workspace or Tools?

Accepted Answer

A workspace is a GBrain of the team’s own: it thinks, remembers everything you give it and works on a schedule, and everyone in it uses its applications. Tools is for one person who wants their own applications in the AIs they already use. A workspace’s applications come with the workspace, so the people in one use them with nothing more to buy. Pricing has both, and what each costs.

Question 2

What does a workspace cost, and is it per person?

Accepted Answer

A workspace is $199 a month, whatever the size of the team. The price covers the workspace and everyone invited into it, so adding the rest of the team costs nothing extra, and they share the same conversation and the same memory. $100 of usage credit is included every month. Pricing lists what is in a workspace.

Question 3

What does Tools cost?

Accepted Answer

Tools is $19 a month for one person, charged from the day you buy it. That one price covers every application and every AI you use: there is no second tier, and nothing costs more because you use it more. For a team, choose how many licenses at checkout or add them from Billing, and each goes to whoever opens a link you send. Cancel any time. Tools shows what you get.

Question 4

What happens to my notes if I leave?

Accepted Answer

The notes leave with you. Everything a workspace has learned is plain markdown in a folder you can copy, and the open source parts are free to run yourself. A copy is every note as a markdown file plus the database underneath: a paid workspace takes one from a terminal, and any workspace can ask support for one. Move your GBrain out of a workspace has the steps.

Question 5

What do the credits in a workspace’s price cover?

Accepted Answer

Every month a workspace includes $100 of usage credit. The credit pays for the AI models the workspace thinks with, and for metered tools such as web search and page crawling. If a workspace reaches it, you buy more from the workspace’s billing page, and the workspace tells you before the credit runs out rather than after. Pricing has the rest of how billing works.

Question 6

How do I cancel?

Accepted Answer

A workspace is cancelled from its own billing page, without asking anyone. Tools is cancelled from the account’s Billing page: Manage billing opens Stripe, which holds the card and the invoices. Either one runs to the end of the period you paid for, and unused time is not refunded. The terms have the rest.

Question 7

Does an AI ever see my password?

Accepted Answer

No. You sign in on the vendor’s own page, and GBrain keeps what the vendor hands back, encrypted. When an AI wants something done, it asks GBrain: GBrain checks the permission and the daily limit, makes the call itself, and returns the result. The AI gets the result of a call, never the password or the key. Key custody shows the path a call takes.

Question 8

Which AIs does GBrain work with?

Accepted Answer

GBrain works with Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and your terminal, and with any AI that speaks MCP, the Model Context Protocol. Each one that is plugged in gets the same memory and the same accounts, at the level the team set, and nothing is set up twice. Works with has the list, and how each one connects.

Question 9

Can I add an application that is not on the list?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Any MCP server works: give its address, and a key if it asks for one, and GBrain connects it like the rest. Add your own MCP server is at the foot of the list of applications. To have one listed for everybody, ask us: a search of the list that finds nothing ends on a button that writes the email. Applications has every way one connects.

Question 10

Is my data used to train AI models?

Accepted Answer

No. GBrain does not train AI on what a team puts in a workspace, does not sell it, and does not use it for marketing. GBrain looks at a team’s content only to keep the service working: automated checks for failures, debugging and support. The AI provider that processes a prompt sees that prompt for that request only, under the provider’s published policy. Privacy lists what is collected, where it lives and who processes it.
