Supabase in the terminal

Supabase is a Postgres development platform with auth, storage and functions. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer a question with a query, apply a migration to a branch, or check the security advisor for missing policies.

  • Manage projects and branches
  • Run SQL queries
  • Apply migrations
  • Read logs, advisors and Edge Functions

Install the CLI, then connect Supabase

Supabase is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Supabase is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help supabase

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Supabase's commands come from Supabase's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Supabase through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
