Salesforce from the command line

Accounts, opportunities, contacts and the activity behind them. GBrain Tools gives Salesforce, and every other application you connect, a command line for one price.

Get Tools, $19 a month

One price for one person: Salesforce and every other application GBrain connects, from a terminal or any AI. Cancel any time.

Install the CLI, then connect Salesforce

Salesforce is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser, through an app your company's admin makes for GBrain. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Salesforce is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help salesforce

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

What GBrain can do with Salesforce

Salesforce is where most sales teams keep their accounts, deals and the activity behind them. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “which deals have had no activity this month?”, brief someone on an account before a call, or show who on the team logged what this week.

Salesforce lets an app in only after a company’s admin sets it up. The admin makes an app for GBrain once, and everyone at the company signs in with it. GBrain sees and changes only what each person’s own Salesforce login can, and you choose in each workspace whether it may only read or also make changes.

  • Look up accounts, contacts and opportunities
  • Read calls, tasks and other logged activity
  • Create and update records when asked
  • See and change only what the person's own Salesforce login can

What a terminal may do with Salesforce, and what GBrain keeps

Off or On, for each terminal

Each terminal reaches Salesforce at the level set for it in the browser: Off, or On, which is every command Salesforce's server lists. A terminal reads its level and never raises it.

1,000 actions a day for each command

Each of Salesforce's commands stops at 1,000 actions a day on the account it reaches, whichever terminal or AI asks, and starts again at midnight UTC. Only that command stops.

Every action on one record

Each command a terminal runs on Salesforce is a row on GBrain's activity log: which terminal, which account, what it did and whether it was allowed, refusals included. gbrainio activity ls --tool salesforce reads it back.

From a terminal, Claude Code or Codex

Salesforce's own server lists its commands only to a terminal that has connected it, so they are not on this page. Once Salesforce is connected, gbrainio tool help salesforce says what each of them does, and gbrainio tool ls lists them with everything else the terminal can run. Claude Code and Codex run the same commands, at the same level, on the same record.

From Salesforce

GBrain reaches Salesforce at its own server, api.salesforce.com. On Salesforce's own pages: its website, how the connection works, its terms of service and its privacy policy.

The GBrain Tools command line works with every other application GBrain connects, each with a page like this one.

Every application's command line

Salesforce from a terminal, with GBrain Tools

Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Salesforce in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
