Render in the terminal

Render hosts web services, databases and background workers. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “why did the last deploy fail?” from the logs, check a service’s memory use, or update an environment variable.

Install takes a Render API key.

  • Create and inspect services
  • Check deploys
  • Read logs and metrics
  • Manage Postgres, key value stores and environment variables

Install the CLI, then connect Render

Render takes a key, pasted in the browser and kept encrypted on GBrain's servers. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Render is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help render

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Render's commands come from Render's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Render through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.

Render from a terminal, with GBrain Tools

Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Render in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
