Prisma in the terminal

Prisma makes a database toolkit and Prisma Postgres, a hosted database. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can create a database for a new project, answer a question with a query, or check when the last backup ran.

  • Create and manage databases
  • Check and restore backups
  • Get connection strings
  • Run SQL queries

Install the CLI, then connect Prisma

Prisma is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Prisma is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help prisma

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Prisma's commands come from Prisma's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Prisma through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.

Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Prisma in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
