PostHog in the terminal

PostHog is product analytics with feature flags, experiments and error tracking. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “how many people used the new export this week?”, read an experiment’s results, or turn a flag off.

  • Query product analytics
  • Manage feature flags
  • Check experiment results
  • Look into errors

Install the CLI, then connect PostHog

PostHog is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What PostHog is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help posthog

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

PostHog's commands come from PostHog's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same PostHog through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
