PlanetScale runs managed MySQL and Postgres databases. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what are the slowest queries this week?”, compare the schema on two branches, or run a read-only query to check a number.

Install the CLI, then connect PlanetScale
PlanetScale is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.
PlanetScale's commands come from PlanetScale's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.
