Otter.ai in the terminal

Otter.ai records and transcribes meetings. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what did the customer say about pricing on Tuesday’s call?” or find a theme that keeps coming up across a month of calls.

The connection only reads.

  • Search meeting transcripts
  • Read meeting notes and summaries
  • Find themes across many meetings

Install the CLI, then connect Otter.ai

Otter.ai is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Otter.ai is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help otter

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Otter.ai's commands come from Otter.ai's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Otter.ai through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
