O’Reilly is a learning library of technical books, videos and courses. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can find the chapter that explains a concept, quote it with the source, or answer “which book covers event sourcing best?”
It reads what an O’Reilly subscription already covers, and the connection only reads.
O'Reilly is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.
# Install the CLI curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash # Set the terminal up and connect it gbrainio terminal connect # What O'Reilly is, and each of its commands once it is connected gbrainio tool help oreilly
The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.
O'Reilly's commands come from O'Reilly's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.
Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same O'Reilly through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect O'Reilly in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
