Notion in the terminal

Notion is where many teams keep docs, wikis and project databases. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what did we decide about pricing?” from the team’s pages, draft meeting notes into the right database, or update a project’s status.

  • Search a Notion workspace
  • Read pages and databases
  • Create and edit pages
  • Query and update database rows

Install the CLI, then connect Notion

Notion is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Notion is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help notion

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Notion's commands come from Notion's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Notion through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
