Netlify in the terminal

Netlify hosts and deploys websites and web apps. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “did last night’s deploy succeed?”, update an environment variable, or pull the latest form submissions from a site.

  • Create and manage sites
  • Deploy and check deploy status
  • Manage environment variables
  • Read form submissions and manage extensions

Install the CLI, then connect Netlify

Netlify is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Netlify is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help netlify

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Netlify's commands come from Netlify's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Netlify through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.

Tools

Netlify from a terminal, with GBrain Tools

Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Netlify in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
