Mixpanel in the terminal

Mixpanel tracks how people use a product. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “where do new signups drop off?” or “did retention improve after the last release?” without anyone building a report.

The connection only reads.

  • Query events and users
  • Build funnels and retention reports
  • Read saved reports and dashboards
  • Look up project events and properties

Install the CLI, then connect Mixpanel

Mixpanel is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Mixpanel is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help mixpanel

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Mixpanel's commands come from Mixpanel's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Mixpanel through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
