Meltwater in the terminal

Meltwater monitors news, social media and broadcast coverage for companies and PR teams. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what did the press say about us this week?”, compare coverage with a competitor, or pull the mentions behind a spike.

The connection only reads.

  • Search news and media coverage
  • Track mentions of a brand or topic
  • Read social listening results
  • Pull coverage analytics

Install the CLI, then connect Meltwater

Meltwater is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Meltwater is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help meltwater

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Meltwater's commands come from Meltwater's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Meltwater through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
