Help Scout in the terminal

Help Scout is a shared inbox and help center for customer support. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what are customers asking about most this week?” or pull a customer’s history before a reply.

Help Scout’s connection only reads.

  • Search conversations
  • Look up customers
  • Pull support reports
  • Search help articles

Install the CLI, then connect Help Scout

Help Scout is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Help Scout is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help help-scout

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Help Scout's commands come from Help Scout's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Help Scout through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits
