Granola in the terminal

Granola is a notepad for meetings that writes up the call without a bot joining it. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what did the customer say about pricing last Tuesday?” or turn a month of notes into a brief before a follow-up.

The connection only reads. On Granola’s free plan it sees personal notes from the last 30 days, and transcripts and folders need a paid plan.

  • Ask questions across meeting notes
  • Read notes and summaries
  • Pull meeting transcripts
  • List meetings and folders

Install the CLI, then connect Granola

Granola is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Granola is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help granola

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Granola's commands come from Granola's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Granola through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
