Grafana Cloud in the terminal

Grafana Cloud collects metrics and logs and shows them as dashboards. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “is anything firing right now?”, query the error rate for a service, or tell the team who’s on call.

  • Search and read dashboards
  • Query Prometheus metrics and Loki logs
  • Check alerts
  • Look up incidents and who's on call

Install the CLI, then connect Grafana Cloud

Grafana Cloud is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Grafana Cloud is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help grafana

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Grafana Cloud's commands come from Grafana Cloud's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Grafana Cloud through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
