ClickUp in the terminal

ClickUp is where teams plan work: tasks, docs and goals in one place. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what’s due this week?”, turn a thread into tasks, or add notes to a doc after a meeting.

  • Search across a ClickUp workspace
  • Create and update tasks
  • Read and write docs
  • Log time and add comments

Install the CLI, then connect ClickUp

ClickUp is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What ClickUp is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help clickup

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

ClickUp's commands come from ClickUp's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same ClickUp through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
