Carta in the terminal

Carta keeps cap tables and equity records for companies and funds. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “how many options are left in the pool?” or pull a stakeholder’s grants before a conversation.

Carta’s connection only reads.

  • Read the cap table
  • Look up stakeholders and grants
  • Check valuations
  • Read fund administration data

Install the CLI, then connect Carta

Carta is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Carta is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help carta

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Carta's commands come from Carta's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Carta through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
