Bookface is Y Combinator’s private community for its founders, which YC describes as a combination of Facebook, Quora and LinkedIn, with tools for fundraising, hiring and scheduling. Bookface is for YC founders only, so connecting it takes a YC account.
Connected to a workspace, GBrain can bring what the YC community has shared into the team’s questions, like “what have founders said about hiring a first salesperson?”
Bookface is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.
# Install the CLI curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash # Set the terminal up and connect it gbrainio terminal connect # What Bookface is, and each of its commands once it is connected gbrainio tool help bookface
The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.
Bookface's commands come from Bookface's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.
Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Bookface through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.
One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.
Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Bookface in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
