Amplitude in the terminal

Amplitude tracks what people do inside a product. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “did the new onboarding lift week-one retention?”, pull an experiment’s results, or find replays of users who dropped off.

Workspaces on Amplitude’s EU data center connect to a separate EU address.

  • Read charts and dashboards
  • Query events and properties
  • Look up cohorts and experiments
  • Find session replays

Install the CLI, then connect Amplitude

Amplitude is connected on its own sign-in page, in the browser. A key or a sign-in never passes through the terminal.

# Install the CLI
curl -sSL https://gbrainio.terminalwire.sh | bash

# Set the terminal up and connect it
gbrainio terminal connect

# What Amplitude is, and each of its commands once it is connected
gbrainio tool help amplitude

The installer is a shell script for macOS and Linux. Read it before you run it.

Amplitude's commands come from Amplitude's own server once it is connected, so none are listed here.

Same tools, any AI

Claude Code, Cursor and Codex reach the same Amplitude through MCP, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One level per application, one daily limit, one record, across every AI and terminal that asks.

Amplitude from a terminal, with GBrain Tools

Tools is $19 a month for one person. Get Tools, connect Amplitude in the browser, and say how far each terminal and each AI may go with it. Change any of it, or take all of it back, whenever you want.
