Web search · MCP

Web search in any assistant.

Search the live web and get back text, not a page of links.

Results come back as title, url, date and the readable text of the page, which is what an agent needs and what a person reading a terminal wants too. Searches cost money, so they are the clearest thing on the daily ceiling.

One endpoint for everything on the plane, not one per service. What this client can call is decided by its permission, not by the address.

The tools it gets

Read from the tool plane, so this is what an assistant is handed today, minus anything its permission does not allow.

Or from a terminal

The same Web search, four commands from a shell prompt, on the same permission and the same record.

How the whole thing fits

One permission, one daily ceiling, one record, across every client that asks.
