Launch Playbook

Reads your past posts, works out what gets read on each account, and checks how each launch did one and two days after.

One of the three in Launches. They share one launch calendar, and nothing posts until you say so.

Rules written from your posts, not from a thread about posting

Everybody has an opinion about what works on X. Your accounts have the answer. This pulls every post from the accounts your team posts from, keeps them on file with their likes and views, and writes one page of rules per account from the medians: how long, with or without a link, what kind of opening, what time. It measures each launch at 24 and 48 hours, including how many new paying customers arrived after the post, and the rules move when the numbers do.

What it does

  • Pulls the posts from each account on your list (the founder’s X, the company’s X, each teammate’s X), with likes, views, reposts and replies, and keeps them on file.
  • Writes one short playbook per account: a handful of rules, each with the number behind it and how many posts it rests on. A rule needs ten posts or it is not written.
  • Notices when a tracked account posts about a launch, with or without the link, and marks the launch posted with the time.
  • Measures each posted launch at 24 and 48 hours: likes, views, and new paying customers since the post, from Stripe when it is connected.
  • For LinkedIn, where there is no read tool, it takes the numbers a person pastes in and keeps them in the same table.

The reveal

The playbook for the company account says: posts with the link in the first line get a third of the views of posts with it in a reply, over forty posts. Nobody on the team believed it until the number was on the page. The next draft puts the link in a reply.

Configuration

  • The accounts: each account the team posts from, by handle, and whose it is.
  • Where money shows up: Stripe, optional, for the new-customers column.
  • How often: when you ask, or every morning before the drafter runs, if an available scheduler can run the work and you approve it.

What it doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t post, like, or reply. It reads.
  • It doesn’t write a rule from a feeling or from fewer than ten posts.
  • It doesn’t read LinkedIn. A person pastes those numbers in.
  • It doesn’t read accounts that are not on your list.

Triggers

Runs when you ask (“pull the posts”, “how did the launch do”, “what works on the company account”). Daily pulls need a verified scheduler and your approval; otherwise it runs one bounded pull now and saves where it got to.

Put Launch Playbook to work

Reads your past posts, works out what gets read on each account, and checks how each launch did one and two days after.
