USAFacts

US government data from the Census Bureau, BLS, Treasury and more.

Install It is public, so there is nothing to sign in to.

What GBrain can do with USAFacts

USAFacts organizes government data from dozens of federal sources like the Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Treasury. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “how does unemployment in Texas compare to the national rate?” from the real figures.

The connection only reads, and it needs no sign-in. It starts with economic data, and USAFacts is adding more datasets.

  • List the government data sources available
  • Pull figures from a source
  • Explain the numbers with context

From the command line

GBrain gives USAFacts a command line too. From a terminal, a script or Claude Code, gbrainio tool help usafacts-connector lists its commands once it is connected.

Install USAFacts in a workspace

It is public, so there is nothing to sign in to. Then add it to a workspace, and anyone on the team can ask about it in plain words.
