Documentation and answers about any public GitHub repository.

What GBrain can do with DeepWiki

DeepWiki, from the makers of Devin, writes documentation for public GitHub repositories and answers questions about their code. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “how does this library handle retries?” or summarize how an unfamiliar open-source project is put together, without anyone cloning it.

No sign-in is needed, it covers public repositories only, and the connection only reads.

  • List the documentation topics for a GitHub repository
  • Read a repository's generated documentation
  • Ask a question about a repository's code and get a grounded answer

From the command line

GBrain gives DeepWiki a command line too. From a terminal, a script or Claude Code, gbrainio tool help deepwiki lists its commands once it is connected.

DeepWiki from the command line

Install DeepWiki in a workspace

It is public, so there is nothing to sign in to. Then add it to a workspace, and anyone on the team can ask about it in plain words.
