What GBrain can do with Consensus

Consensus is a search engine for published research, covering more than 400 million papers from Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex and PubMed. Connected to a workspace, GBrain can answer “what do randomized trials say about four-day work weeks?” and link each paper it cites on consensus.app.

It can narrow results to meta-analyses, systematic reviews or studies in people, and keep a search going as a thread the team adds questions to.

  • Search more than 400 million academic papers
  • Filter by year, study design and field
  • Read authors, journal, citations and abstract
  • Keep research threads to add to later

From the command line

GBrain gives Consensus a command line too. From a terminal, a script or Claude Code, gbrainio tool help consensus lists its commands once it is connected.
