Before a first meeting, a pitch, an interview, or an introduction, the assistant researches one person across everything public and everything your team has already captured, and hands you a single brief: who they are, what they’ve actually done, and what’s worth knowing before you sit down.
What it does
- Takes a name (and any handle, company, or link you can give to disambiguate) and gathers every trustworthy trace of that person.
- Pulls from public sources and from anything your team has connected: past notes, threads, and documents that mention them.
- Confirms it’s the right person before attributing anything, so you’re never briefed on someone else with the same name.
- Anchors every point to a concrete, sourced fact: real achievements, exact numbers, their own public words, not vague adjectives.
- Returns a structured brief: background, what they’ve built or done, their own words worth knowing, recent activity, and smart questions to ask.
The reveal
You’ve got a first call at 3pm with someone you’ve never met. At 2:30 you have a two-page brief: where they came from, the specific thing they shipped that you should mention, a line they wrote last year that tells you how they think, and three questions that will make them feel you did the homework. You walk in warm instead of cold.
What it doesn’t do
- It won’t attribute on a guess. If two people share a name, it flags the ambiguity and asks rather than briefing you on the wrong person.
- It doesn’t invent to fill space. Every claim traces to a real source; if a fact can’t be sourced, it’s left out.
- It isn’t a background check or a judgment. It compiles what’s known; what you make of it is yours.
